Warrior Runes in Season of Discovery Phase 4

We have summarized all locations of the Warrior Runes in Season of Discovery Phase 4, and all the Runes from Phase 1 and 2 in SoD. All SoD Warrior Runes here on Your-MMO.com

Warrior Runes from SoD Phase 3

All Runes in Phase 3 have the same location for both Alliance and Horde.

This Rune requires Friendly reputation with Emerald Wardens. Once you are Friendly, check in with an Emerald Wardens Quartermaster and purchase your Rune for 1 60.

Gordunni Outpost cave, Feralas. Path to the cave is at /way 75.0 35.2.

Inside you’ll find Ohk’zi, a 43 elite Ogre, /way 74.8 24.9

Kill the Elite ogre and loot the rune.

  • Pick up the quest The Wild Gods The Wild Gods from Shadowtooth Emissary in Emerald Sanctuary, Felwood, /way 51.5 82. This initial quest is not shareable; everyone will need to pick it up for themselves.

  • Only one player in a group needs to have done this step: Go to Jinth’Alor in the Hinterlands. Kill elite trolls to obtain Wildwhisper Draught Wildwhisper Draught.

  • Go to Razorfen Downs and clear the area around Amnennar the Coldbringer. Drink Wildwhisper Draught Wildwhisper Draught to spawn Spirit of Agamaggan. Speak to him to get a quest and Agamaggan's Roar Agamaggan’s Roar. Only one player needs to drink the draught to spawn him.

  • You can either do all three Dungeons for variety, or you can do multiple runs on the same dungeon. There is no difference between the Wild Offering Wild Offering drops among the three mobs. Since Wild Offering Wild Offering also becomes a currency (see Tips below), you will want to farm more of these anyway.

In each of these three Dungeons related to this Rune, you will need to kill specific mobs in to spawn a ghostly mob.

This ghostly mob can be killed once per Dungeon lockout, meaning resetting the same Dungeon and running it again is a valid strategy. When you trigger the conditions for the ghostly mob, you get a chat emote “You feel a shadowed presence”. Use Agamaggan's Roar Agamaggan’s Roar near the ghostly mob; this makes a level 52 elite called the Delirious Ancient turn hostile. Each Ancient drops 1x Wild Offering Wild Offering:

  • Once you have collected all three Wild Offering Wild Offerings, return to Shadowtooth Emissary to collect your Rune.

Locate 4 appendages to the Obliterator in the Slag Pits, Searing Gorge:

Take the four pieces to the stone head at the eastern section of Searing Gorge, /way 65 45. This summons Iodax the Obliterator, an elite Giant. He has around 11K hit points and hits hard, including a 3-second Stun, so bring friends. It can be soloed at around level 50 with careful CD management.

  1. Kill Trolls and Spiders in the Hinterlands until they find the Geode Hammer Geode Hammer as a drop.

  2. Once you get the Geode Hammer Geode Hammer, equip it and continue attacking enemies until the Geode Hammer Geode Hammer breaks, creating a Broken Geode Hammer Broken Geode Hammer.

  3. Right-click the Broken Geode Hammer Broken Geode Hammer to open it and obtain this Rune.
The quest will only be available to those who have already completed the two previous quests that involve defeating the Wandering Swordsmen:  Blood Frenzy (Phase 1) and  Rallying Cry (Phase 2)

Warriors will need to complete a multi-part quest chain in order to obtain this Rune.

Do not join any groups at any stage; this often bugs out the quest. It doesn’t bug 100% of the time, but it’s often enough that you don’t want to risk it. If you join a group at any stage in this process, you may not be able to hand in Return to the Arena Return to the Arena.

  1. Pick up the quest The Old Champ The Old Champ from Fizbuz Mithril in Gadgetzan in Tanaris, /way 51.6 27.6.

  2. Fly to Azshara and speak with Kajind to complete the quest (/way 25.4 66.2), then accept the next quest, Defanged Defanged.

  3. Defeat Ceruleos. The dragon paths just north of Lake Mennar — middle of the path is around /way 39.4 72.4. Although Ceruleos has a low health pool, the dragon does put out good damage.

  4. Return to Kajind to pick up the next quest in the chain, Return to the Arena Return to the Arena.

  5. Return to Gadgetzan and speak to Fizbuz Mithril to turn in the quest, then accept the next quest, Fight Night Fight Night.

  6. Defeat Kajind, then turn in the quest to receive this Rune and Blademaster's Fury Blademaster’s Fury.

Warrior Runes from SoD Phase 2

All Runes in Phase 2 have the same location for both Alliance and Horde.

  • Kill ogres in Alterac or in Stromgarde. You are looking for an Illegible Recipe to drop. This will start the quest, Anyone Can Cook.

  • When you have the Illegible Recipe, head to south east Arathi Highlands and find Skonk at /way 59.0, 72.0.

  • Turn the quest in, and Skonk will give you a follow-up quest to procure ingredients:

  • Return to Skonk and defeat him to get your Rune.

Loot the Witherbark Mallet from Witherbark trolls around Witherbark Village, Southwest Arathi Highlands.

Desolace

Booty Bay

Arathi Highlands
  • There is Rowboat under the bridge between Arathi Highlands and the Wetlands, around /53 91 on the Arathi Highlands map. Interact with the boat and you will be teleported to the eastern shore.
  • Find Illari Duskfeather and speak with her. For most races, she will give (two equally hostile) dialogue options; upon choosing one, she will fight you. Defeat her, pick up the dropped bag and loot Illari’s Key. Open the chest and loot the Rune.
