The majority of players are pointing out the same feedback to Blizzard of why they would not play Classic Hardcore Self-Found:

• “People are playing the MMO without a multiplayer element?”
• “Its coming 1 year too late”
• “when SoD Hardcore?”

In a recent Poll on Youtube, Blizzard has already found out that most players are still currently playing the retail version of World of Warcraft, or Season of Discovery. In that recent Poll, only 3% of players chose the option of Classic Hardcore.

Whenever Classic Hardcore released, many players made their own version of a Solo-Self-Found mode, just on their own.

The hype of Classic Hardcore has calmed down, and most players are enjoying Season of Discovery a lot. This has shifted the player base away from Classic Hardcore.
