Honestly thought I was going crazy when they said it in the video.
Unless they plan on destroying yet another Classic hallmark, Classic is known for raid replayability. You did MC for TF/Onsault/etc even when later phases were out. Some guilds continued doing BWL/AQ for a time.
So, twice a week, we’ll be doing:

MC
Onyxia
Azuregos
Kazzak

That’s JUST for P4. Will be going back to MC for P5 unless they spit on Classic design again.
On top of this, the team has pushed the idea of making alts to the limit. They’ve added retail exp boosts out the bass and mentioned leveling alts in nearly every major update they’ve given.
So if we want to raid on alts in a guild, that’s a 2x multiplier just for one alt.
Now let me address the sea lions who will respond to this and say “Then just do it once”
You tell me how that will go over in a guild. “Hey guys I’m only going to show up to raids half of the time, please save me a spot tehehe”
You’ll be kicked. Casual guilds won’t miss a lockout either, because they’ll be heavily punished for doing so. In fact the entire cost of missing a lockout even if you found a guild who would be willing to, is simply having crap gear compared to those who raid both lockouts, and now you just feel bad about the game.
Oh and have fun getting world buffs twice a week, probably 8x a week if you can’t clear all content in 1 hour.
What is it with this team making these insane decisions?
