Today’s beta War Within build adds a new condition that implies players won’t be able to access Heroic dungeons on Dungeon Finder until Season 1 starts.

Today’s beta War Within build adds a new condition that implies players won’t be able to access Heroic dungeons on Dungeon Finder until Season 1 starts.

This means players will need to walk to the dungeons, similar to what is done for Mythic dungeons. Unlike past expansions, Heroic Dungeons haven’t had a daily lockout, even when you walk to them, for a while. If this will change or not with The War Within is unsure.

Heroic dungeons are not available in Dungeon Finder until The War Within Season 1 begins.

This change makes sense, with Heroic Dungeons being a more integral part of the dungeon ecosystem since the end of Dragonflight Season 3. Mythic dungeons themselves will be closed during the expansion early-access window.
