We took a first look at Alchemy in The War Within and found that Flasks are back! Phials are now used for Profession Stats like Finesse, and PvP Flasks are also introduced.

We took a first look at Alchemy in The War Within and found that Flasks are back! Phials are now used for Profession Stats like Finesse, and PvP Flasks are also introduced.

Flasks Return in The War Within

In the current Alpha for The War Within, most Alchemy Recipes for Season 1 are already added.

Instead of Phials like in Dragonflight that last 30 minutes, these Flasks once again are lasting for 1 Hour. You also craft two Flasks immediately instead of one!

Vicious Flasks - PvP Flasks with Unique Mechanics

These flasks will yield a unique bonus and can be used in all rated and unrated PvP environments. Especially the Vicious Flask of Honor that will increase your Honor gain by 15% sounds pretty interesting for players trying to increase their Honor level.

Phials Used for Profession Stats

Phials are now exclusively used for Profession stats like Finesse and Resourcefulness. Players will craft 4 of these at a time, so their yield is 2 hours, similar to crafting two Flasks at the same time.

Alchemy Stone

The new Alchemy Stone XX will have a similar effect as previous Alchemy Stones.

The recipe is currently listed with materials from Dragonflight, which might indicate that this is bugged currently and therefore excluded from our Recipe Overview.
