One of the things mentioned about systems in general in The War Within is their expressing of a desire to continue to extend the philosophies first explored in Dragonflight, which includes a focus on evergreen content – Wanting to create content for every type of player and making World of Warcraft better, forever.

With that in mind, one of the new systems being announced for The War Within is Delves! Delves are composed of outdoor vaults that players will be able to explore in search of treasure, together with the Dragonscale Expedition.

• Delves can be completed by groups of 1-4 players, and they will be role-agnostic – Which means you can complete them in any specialization! No need to seek out tanks or healers for your group.
• Delves will be included into Seasonal content, giving players rewards for the season such as mounts, pets, and achievements. In addition to this, seasonal NPCs will help with your delving endeavors, with Brann Bronzebeard being given as an example.
• A massive haul of treasures will be available at the end of each vault, which will require you to complete objectives such as defeating a boss or completing puzzles.
• To supplement the feeling of evergreen content and give more content to outdoor-focused players, a new Outdoor row is being added to the Great Vault! Players will be able to complete Delves for Great Vault rewards every week,
