Patch 11.0 Now Encrypted On Internal Testing Server

It’s finally time for the upcoming Expansion for World of Warcraft to hit the internal Development Servers. Patch 11.0 is now an encrypted Build on the WoWDev Servers.

Here’s the rough timeline for Dragonflight and Shadowlands:

Dragonflight

  • Encrypted Dragonflight Build: April 22nd, 2022
  • Alpha Starts: July 14th, 2022
  • Release Date: November 28th, 2022 – 220 days after first encrypted build

Shadowlands

  • Encrypted Shadowlands Build: February 19th, 2020
  • Alpha Starts: April 9th, 2020
  • Original Release Date: October 26th, 2020 – 250 days after first encrypted build
  • New Release Date: November 23rd, 2020

Using both estimations, it would put The War Within release date between July 19th 2024 and August 18th 2024. Could we be in for a summer release?

Note that previously mentioned that Alpha testing for The War Within would be starting during spring, so maybe the launch will be later, around fall.
