Stat Priority for Mistweaver Monk in The War Within Season 1

The further we will get into the current expansion, the effects of diminishing returns start to limit the effectiveness of your secondary stats. After reaching 30% through secondary stats (eg. ~19800 Haste) on your gear, you will start receiving a penalty for each further point on your gear. This penalty reduces the gain from more of the same stat over this threshold.

Stat Priority can differ on every player due to the different gear being used. Make sure to check your own character on Raidbots to get the perfect results for you! A general overview for secondary stats is as follows.

General Rotation for Mistweaver Monk in The War Within Season 1

For both Hero Classes we offer a general rotation overview. Beware that this is not an in-depth guide how to play your favorite class in each situation, but instead grant newer players insight about how to play and master the basics of their class.

  1. Make sure enemies are debuffed with  Mystic Touch by dealing damage to them.
  2. Make sure  Summon Jade Serpent Statue is placed so that it can reach anyone you channel  Soothing Mist on.
  3. Never let  Renewing Mist stay at 3 charges. Keep it on cooldown.
  4. Cast  Sheilun’s Gift before a major cooldown to amplify its power through  Shaohao’s Lessons.
  5. Drink some stacks of  Mana Tea, especially if you’re about to reach 20 stacks. Doing this before casting several  Vivify in a row is recommended.
  6. Channel  Soothing Mist on an injured target.
  7. Cast  Vivify to heal your raid group.
  8. Cast  Sheilun’s Gift on injured players.
  9. Cast  Chi Burst through as many players as possible.
  10. Cast  Tiger Palm to build  Teachings of the Monastery stacks, casting  Blackout Kick to try and reset the cooldown of  Rising Sun Kick.
  11. Cast  Expel Harm if you’re injured.
  12. Deal damage to any present enemies if no healing needs to be done.
