Stat Priority for Restoration Druid in The War Within Season 1

The further we will get into the current expansion, the effects of diminishing returns start to limit the effectiveness of your secondary stats. After reaching 30% through secondary stats (eg. ~19800 Haste) on your gear, you will start receiving a penalty for each further point on your gear. This penalty reduces the gain from more of the same stat over this threshold.

Stat Priority can differ on every player due to the different gear being used. Make sure to check your own character on Raidbots to get the perfect results for you! A general overview for secondary stats is as follows.

Stat Priority for Restoration Druid in The War Within Season 1 (Mythic Dungeons)

  1. Intellect
  2. Haste
  3. Versatility
  4. Critical Strike
  5. Mastery

General Rotation for Restoration Druid in The War Within Season 1

For both Hero Classes we offer a general rotation overview. Beware that this is not an in-depth guide how to play your favorite class in each situation, but instead grant newer players insight about how to play and master the basics of their class.

  1. Keep  Efflorescence active as frequently as possible. Put down a new one if the raid group moves. This is even more important for the Double Blooms build since  Verdancy can make up a decent amount of your healing.
  2. Aim to keep  Lifebloom on two DPS for  Photosynthesis value. If you’re raiding with the build it’s also acceptable to keep one on yourself for the HoT speed increase. You can refresh  Lifebloom any time in the last 4.5 seconds of the buff to get the “bloom” effect so you don’t have to let it drop to maximize its healing. You will want to keep both active whenever there is relevant damage going out.
  3. Cast  Regrowth with any  Omen of Clarity procs that you get. With  Rampant Growth these will apply HoTs to 3 people if you have  Lifeblooms out.
  4. Cast  Swiftmend and then  Wild Growth during moderate damage. It’s worth holding  Wild Growth if you expect to cast  Flourish before it’ll come back off cooldown.
  5. Keep at least one charge of  Grove Guardians on cooldown so that you’re not wasting any. The timing is less important than maximizing your usages over a fight and it’s ok to keep one down whenever there is damage.
  6. React to anyone dropping very low with  Nature’s Swiftness +  Regrowth, or just  Regrowth if it’s on cooldown. Try to avoid leaning too heavily into  Regrowths in general play. If you have a lot of  Abundance stacks (usually after a  Flourish ramp), or an  Omen of Clarity proc then feel free.
  7. Fill any free time with  Wrath (if it’s a significant amount of time, then check the DPS rotation below).
