MDT Route for S2 Priory of Sacred Flame

First Boss: Captain Dailcry

Notable Trash Mobs in this Area

Captain Dailcry is surrounded by several minibosses. To trigger them, we have to investigate certain objectives to make a single miniboss to run up to this position. On your way to these objectives, you encounter several enemies. If you trigger the event in the north, Elaena Emberlanz will run towards that spot. The south objective will trigger Taener Duelmal and the middle one will trigger Sergeant Shaynemail. You can only trigger 2 minibosses, and have to deal with the last one during the boss fight.

Arathi Footman uses Mortal Strike on the current Tank, applying a healing reduction that can stack.

Arathi Knight cast Disrupting Shout which cannot be interrupted, and deals damage to all players and silences them if they were interrupted while casting a spell. Impale is an attack against a random player, dealing damage and applying a bleeding debuff.

Fervemt Sharpshooter attack random players with Pot Shot, and also leap to a random location and throws some traps on the floor. Stepping into them roots players and deals damage over time.

Fanatical Conjurer have Fireball and Flamestrike. Like regular Mage abilities, this deals damage in a swirl when the cast is finished, and leaves a voidzone on the floor.

Devout Priest uses Greater Heal and Holy Smite, very familiar abilities. The Lightspawn uses Purification, channeling damage into one random player over 6 seconds and cannot be interrupted.

  • To trigger Taener Duelmal, you have to defeat High Priest Aemya. She is located in the south, indicated with a minimap icon. She uses Reflective Shield, creating a shield absorbing damage and reflecting damage back to players, and Holy Smite. Taener Duelmal casts Ember Storm, creating swirls on the floor to dodge. He also casts Cinderblast and Fireball on random players, but can be interrupted. If your group has a lot of interrupts, you should not trigger his event and fight Taener Duelmal with the boss.
  • To trigger Elaena Emberlanz, you have to defeat Forge Master Damian. He is located in the north plattform. He buffs himself with Seal of Flame, increasing his damage done by 50% and spawns lavapools around in the area. With Heatwave, he pulsates for damage to nearby players and slows them a bit. Elaena Emeberlanz uses Divine Judgment on the tank, dealing damage and causing his damage taken to be increased for 6 seconds. Repentance has to be interrupted, it would stun a random player for 8 seconds. Holy Radiance pulsates damage to all players every 1 second for 8 seconds. If your Tank and healer and fairly well equipped, you should leave this boss alive and fight her with Captain Dailcry.
  • To trigger Sergeant Shaynemail, you need to defeat Guard Captain Suleyman, who is located in the middle area. He uses Thunderclap to deal AoE damage, and Shield Slam against the current Tank to knock them away. Sergeant Shaynemail attacks random players with Lunging Strike, dealing damage to those players and 5-yards around them, so make sure to spread a little bit. Brutal Smash deals heavy area damage and stuns players for 5 seconds if struck. This guy should never fight during the Boss fight.

Captain Dailcry Notable Abilities

  • Make sure that all other mini-bosses are defeated before you encounter Captain Dailycry. You can also pull him if one miniboss is still remaining at him and did not trigger and reset combat. The miniboss will still be engaged with you.

  • This might be fixed in the future, but aslong as we can pull the additional mini boss away, this will be strat.
Bound by Fate

The reason we kill all two possible minibosses is that Captain Dailcry and his mini-bosses are granting each other a buff, causing them to share health but its increased by 300%.

Pierce Armor

Captain Dailcry slashes at his current target, inflicting 1724862 Physical damage and causing the target to bleed for 172486 Physical damge every 1 sec for 10 sec.

Hurl Spear

Captain Dailcry throws his spear towards a random target, dealing Physical damage to players in its path, and applying a bleeding debuff for 8 seconds if struck. This can be dodged by all players, even the targeted one.

Battle Cry
Battle Cry has to be interrupted, otherwise it deals very high damage to players and grants all his allies a damage increase of 50% for 30 seconds.

Savage Mauling
Captain Dailcry jumps with his mount on a random player, rooting them in place ,dealing damage every 0.5 seconds and applying a damage absorb shield on themself. To stop him from doing damage, make sure to burn this absorb shield quick.

Second Boss: Baron Braunpyke

Notable Trash Mobs in this Area

Clear the waves of enemies coming downstairs into the big hall, and you will encounter the next boss.

Fanatic Conjurer with their Flamestrike and Devout Priest with their heal are similar as before.

Ardent Paladin use Divine Storm and Consecreation, typical Paladin abilities that you are familiar with. They also use Sacred Toll, like Divine Toll, dealing damage to all players within 50 yards, but this does not interrupt the players.

Baron Braunpyke Notable Abilities

Vindictive Wrath

Frequently, Braunpyke empowers himself with Vindictive Wrath, increasing his Physical damage by 25% and empowering each of his other abilities.

Castigator’s Shield

Like the Paladin’s Avenger’s Shield, the bosses XX launches a bouncing projectile onto 3 players that deals damage to them, slows them and spawns a large voidzone below each player hit. This voidzone explodes, XX, dealing heavy damage to players struck. During Vidictive Wrath, this hits all 5 players.

Burning Light

Braunpyke starts casting XX, and if not interrupted, it heals the boss by 40% of his health and deals heavy damage to all players. During Vindictive Wrath, the cast time for this is reduced.

Hammer of Purity

The boss also casts XX on one random player, indicated by a swirl on the floor. This then spawns spiraling Hammer that deal damage to players coming into contact with them. As you might have guessed, during Vindicative Wrath this affects all 5 players, so spread far away from each other.

Sacrificial Pyre

And last, missing the footage and the reason, but Braunpyke creates a burning pyre, like statues containing 3 charges. Each time a player comes into contact with the pyre, a charge is consumed and the player is affected by Sacrificial Flame, taking damage over 5 seconds. We currently assume that you can most likely dodge them. If not, let each player soak a charge and use defensive cooldowns.

Third Boss: Prioress Murrpray

Notable Trash Mobs in this Area

On your way to the last boss, you encounter a large hall with the same enemies as before. This is the first dungeon in The War Within were enemies are just repeating, but they also have been a lot already.

Risen Mage is new, and casts Fireball Volley that must be interrupted.

Prioress Murrpray Notable Abilities

  • Make sure to turn your character away from Prioress Murrpray when she casts Blinding Light, not just turn your camera around.

The Sacred Flame –

Murrpray spawns a beam that chases one player with The Sacred Flame. This deals damage to players coming into contact with it, but also leaves a path of a voidzone below it.

Blinding Light

Blinding Light is a 4 second cast that deals damage to all players, but also disorients all players that are having their characters facing the boss. Make sure to turn your character around, not just your camera.

Holy Smite

Murrpray deals damage to her current target, inflicting Holy damage but can be interrupted.

Holy Flame

And Murrpray is a dispellable debuff on a random player, that deals damage to all players within 8 yards around the targeted player.

Inner Fire

The boss will buff herself with XX, increasing her damage done for 10 seconds and also pulsate heavy damage over time to all players. This requires some strong healing output.

Barrier of Light

Upon reaching 50% health, Murrpray jumps upstairs and shields herself with a large absorb shield. While she has this shield, she cannot be interrupted and channels Embrace the Light, dealing increasing damage as long she casts this. During this time, several Arathi Neophyte’s will run towards players, pulsating heavy damage around them, but also losing health themself, so the further your group is away, the lower the adds will be when they reach you. The Boss just continues with her regular abilities from phase 1.
